Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to mgahinga national park

Early departure (7:00 AM) for the drive to Kisoro, with photo stops at the equator and a lunch stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre. Arrive in Kisoro by evening and check in at Amajambere Camp. Full board included; dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2

Gorilla tracking

Early start with a park briefing before trekking through Mgahinga's rainforest and bamboo slopes to find a mountain gorilla family, spending an hour observing them. Afterward, a Batwa trail experience shares the pygmies' traditional forest life and closes with cultural entertainment. Full board included; overnight at Amajambere Camp.

Day 3

Return to Kampala

Final safari day: early breakfast, checkout, and the drive back to Kampala with a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara. Arrival in Kampala is in the late evening, with drop-off at either Entebbe International Airport or your Kampala lodge based on your flight schedule.
