Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at the hotel

after a long-day transfer, check in at gorilla lodge. a serene luxurious stay near the misty national park of Bwindi. home to the worlds' largest population of mountain gorillas. prepare for gorilla trekking the next day.

Day 2

gorilla trekking (Rushaga sector)

after a delicious breakfast, drive to the park reception (a 15 minute drive) then your guide will register you as you are enjoy a cultural dance entertainment. later be briefed by the park warden about the dos and donts while enjoying the activity. gorilla trek might take 5-6 hours depending on the mobility and location of the gorilla group in the jungle. spend an hour in the presence of the gorillas then trek back to the starting point to drive back to your hotel for relaxation.
