Ushering you into the Kisoro, will be our trained English speaking guide who will drive you through the foothills and beautiful landscape of the pearl of Africa. Along the way you will enjoy a delicious lunch in local restaurant then proceed to the hotel for relaxation and dinner time. The drive might take about 8-9hours driving through three cities of the country and being able to have stopovers at the equator, you will view amazing sceneries like lake Bunyonyi, one of the deepest lakes in Africa and also the Virunga ranges.
This is one of the worlds rewarding wildlife experience. A morning repast sets the tone if the day, followed by a drive to the park headquarters where the highlight commences from. With a briefing from the park ranger at 0800 AM trekkers are later divided into groups of eight to ensure minimal impact to the gorilla families. After this activity, every group with armed ranger guides heads into the jungle for the long awaited adventure. Having found the gorilla family, you spend an hour in a recommended proximity to the gorillas with your face masks on and with the ranger guides narrating and interpreting the animal behavior and gestures being displayed by the gorillas. The hike along this highlight calls for you to carry enough drinking water, a good hiking book, a light-rain jacket, long sleeved clothing with your cameras to capture every captivating moment of this experience but with no flash photography. This activity takes about 4-6hours depending on the location of the gorilla family in their natural habitat. At the end of this highlight you receive souvenirs’ from the Uganda wildlife authority as certified trekkers and as ambassadors of conservation. Our tour guide will then transfer you back to the lodge for relaxation time
Day three like the rest will start with a hearty breakfast, you will then check out of the lodge and transfer to Kibale forest national park, the chimp capital of the pearl of Africa. Driving through the rolling hills of western is an experience that offers amazing views of breathtaking scenery, the drive will take about 4-5hours. Upon arrival you will check in and relax as you prepare for the next days adventure.
Kibale forest national park is home to the country’s largest population of chimpanzees making about 1400 chimpanzees of about 4500 in total population. Chimpanzees hold over a 90% DNA match with human beings. The high population of chimpanzees in Kibale forest national park makes it the best destination for your chimpanzee tracking activity.

Having found the chimpanzee community, you are to spend an hour in the required proximity with the chimpanzees with your face masks on. This experience can last about 1-5hours depending on the location and the mobility of these creatures in their natural habitat.
Your memorable experience in Kibale forest national park can be combined with an amazing bigodi swamp walk. One of the breathtaking nature walks you can experience in Uganda. With a serene environment, encompassed with a cool atmosphere and filled with smooth sounds of nature, you get to enjoy this walk bigodi wetland sanctuary. A 3hour walks of about 4.5km. Here you can view a scenic beauty, and birds such as Hornbills, turracos, kingfishers, cranes and parrots among others.
After enjoying these highlights you will head back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner time as you reminisce about the beauties of your experiences.
The last day of the safari will not only wrap up your tour but also ask you to come back to the pearl of Africa and explore more the destination has to offer. Beginning your day with the morning meal, you will later check out and our tour guide will drive you through the captivating topography giving you yet another amazing road experience. Depending on the time available you can have a brief city tour visiting the city's most iconic, historical and cultural destinations like the Uganda museum, kings palace, independence monuments and the Kasubi tombs. Then later you can proceed to the hotel or airport.
