Detailed itinerary for 10 Days Primate Safari Uganda
Day 1: Transfer to the booked accommodation
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, our Company guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Entebbe town overnight. Lake Victoria View Guest House (BB)
Day 2: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
After your breakfast is served to you and taken, we shall embark on a drive to Kibale Forest National Park, have lunch in Fort Portal town then drive to the hotel/lodge for check-in. In the evening, will have a night walk in the forest around the lodge to see some nocturnal animals like galagoes, bush babies, sometimes night jars etc. Kibale Guest Cottages (FB)
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking & Birding experience in Kibale
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the briefing point to prepare to meet our closest relatives’ chimpanzees. we shall be joined by other people headed by the ranger guide who will take us for chimpanzee tracking. return for lunch and have a community swamp walk in the afternoon to see more primates like black and white coulombs monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, red coulombs, vervet monkeys, beautiful birds and anything that comes our way. Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park & Kazinga channel
We shall drive to queen Elizabeth national park through the crater area where we shall see different volcanic craters and stop at the Uganda equator for photos, have lunch and also after lunch have the boat cruise at Kazinga channel to view birds, crocodiles’ schools of hippos, elephants drinking water and others. Day 5: Visit Kasenyi Safari Camp
Early morning game drive in Kasenyi plains in search of cats like leopards and lions on lucky days, we normally encounter them around that area. We see other animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, elephants and beautiful birds. Return to the lodge for lunch after lunch, will go for an evening game drive again. Day 6: Wildlife game viewing in Queen Elizabeth N.P
The company’s driver will drive you to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park after breakfast. Ishasha sector is famous for tree climbing lions and a lot of topi’s but we also have other animals like elephants, buffaloes, water parks, Uganda Kob and on lucky days, leopards are also seen. Have lunch and do an evening game drive in such of those animals. Enjojo Lodge (FB)
Day 7: Morning Game drive in Queen Elizabeth Ishasha sector
Will have another morning game drive in the Ishasha sector in search of animals then return to the hotel/lodge for hot breakfast then later drive to Bwindi national park. The drive to Bwindi national park depends on which area the gorilla permits, and the lodge are located. Have either a packed lunch or at the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel. Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, pick up your pack lunch as you wait for a transfer to pack headquarters, it’s a day of gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Depends on location (FB)
Day 9: Game viewing in Lake Mburo National Park
Drive from Bwindi national park to Lake Mburo national park. Have lunch on the way later we go for the boat trip at Lake Mburo then have a night game drive but depends on the weather of the day. Rwakobo Rock Lodge (FB)
Day 10: Guided game walk & Departure
Have an early morning game walk to get in contact with the animals on foot. Return for hot breakfast then later drive to Entebbe stop over at Uganda equator for photos and craft shopping, have lunch then later proceed to Entebbe international airport to catch the flight. End of service.
