During these 6-days golden monkey and gorilla trekking in volcanoes, National Park you will encounter primates a variety of primate species like the blue monkey, black and white colobus monkey, olive baboons and Lhoest monkeys. the volcan0es stands out as a biodiversity hotspot with over 200 bird species like the Ruwenzori turaco, the strange weaver, dusky crimsonwing and the archers robin chat. other animals include the black fronted duiker, and bush bucks.
You will be picked up by our professional drive guide to your chosen hotel upon arrival at Kigali International Airport. Check-in for Dinner and Overnight.
Firstly, you will have breakfast, secondly, you will embark on a city tour that includes, Kigali Genocide Memorial, then head to the Old Kigali town, and have lunch. On the way to Volcanoes National Park, you will stop for photos and beautiful sceneries then proceed for dinner and overnight.
Immediately after your breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Volcanoes National Park, upon arrival in the park you will check-in at the Lodge, have lunch then later head for a visit to the cultural village in the afternoon, and then return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Wake up in the morning for breakfast and wait for your driver/guide to transfer you to the park headquarter where a gorilla tracking briefing is done in Volcanoes National Park. You will meet the RDB guide, be briefed and head to the forest for Gorilla Adventure. accommodation near the park if time allows, you can visit the local communities.
Early morning breakfast then proceeds to the office of the national park for registration and briefing then go for golden monkey tracking where you will come at very close contact with the monkeys after having lunch, proceed to Lake Kivu for relaxation or boat cruise. it’s optional. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
In the morning you will have breakfast, and after visiting, the Rwanda/Congo border then proceed to Kigali for accommodation or flight according to the flight schedule.
