A 3-days Murchison fall Safari brings you the opportunity to maximize your experience in one of Africa’s top destinations, the largest national park in Uganda the pearl of Africa. this tranquil national park is home to hundreds and thousands of flora and fauna species such as the rare Rothschilds giraffe (also known as the Nubian giraffe), the endemic patas monkeys, four out of Africa’s big five, the elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and this iconic destination is home to the largest population of crocodiles in the pearl of Africa. This national heritage is uniquely known for its powerful waterfall. which is arguably the worlds most powerful waterfall, this is where the longest river on planet earth (River Nile) forces its way through a narrow 8 meter gorge plunging about 43 meters below leaving the ground besides it trembling in awe. The Park is the oldest and largest being characterized by open savannah, riverine forest and woodland vegetation with the planet of wildlife, with 400 bird species you can spot birds like black headed gonolek, blue headed coucal, yellow fronted tinkerbird, double trotted barbet and many others and beautiful scenic view of falls making it the one Uganda destination, the Northern bank is known for wildlife game viewing including hartebeests, oribis, Uganda Kobs, de fassa water bucks, sitatungas and bush bucks
After breakfast, our driver or guide will pick you up from your place of residency or Airport and head to the northern part of Uganda. You will have an optional activity if you permit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhinoceros trekking. which will increase the chances of viewing Africa's big five. most importantly the Journey is about 7-8hours’ drive from Kampala to Murchison Fall National Park, and you do an evening game drive, check in the booked Lodge a, dinner and overnight.
After enjoying the morning meal you, will settle in for a breathtaking morning game along this drive you will have possible sightings of animals like the African elephants, cape buffalo, Rothschilds giraffes and predators like lions, hyenas and leopards antelope species like hartebeest, de fassa water bucks, bush bucks, oribis and sitatungas. After enjoying lunch in the savannah you will settle in for an afternoon launch cruise and have chances of viewing animals cool off and hydrate as well as regulating their body temperatures on the northern banks of the white Nile such as hippos, elephants and the Nile crocodiles. Later you will visit the top of the falls where you can as well take a short hike to the top of these majestic falls as you enjoy the thrill of viewing arguably the world’s powerful waterfall. Having had such a memorable day, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
NOTE: Due to the increase of water levels on river Nile, sometimes visiting the top of the falls on a boat ride is highly risky hence causing this activity to be suspended.
After a delicious your morning meal, you will check out the lodge and your tour guide will drive you out of the park while doing a game drive and later proceed with the journey to Kampala with a drop-off at Entebbe airport or preferred destination.
