Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National park, known for its extraordinary Gorilla trekking experience, Tanzania’s Serengeti National park for its lion population- the largest in Africa at 3000, and Kenya’s Masai Mara for its grassy plains and rolling hills, can now be traversed in a week.
With Entebbe Airport or Kajansi (Aerolink and Fly Uganda available) as your possible departure point, you can spare six hours to recover from possible jet lag and begin gorilla trekking at Bwindi two hours after you arrive in Uganda.

After Bwindi has enthralled you with a brew of rivers flowing to Lake Edward, Gorilla groups and diverse rainforests, you get to experience the wasteland of Serengeti in 2 hours’ time, if this is a trip that started early, you may as well have dinner on your porch as you watch in the buffalos of Serengeti migrate.
The following morning could get you packing for Masai Mara in Kenya in a 3 hour flight ending on the grasslands of the Kenyan Masai people, in time to rest and prepare for an afternoon’s game drive.
